Over the past 25 years I have worked with a vast range of leather, I use this experience to choose individual hides, checking for quality and finish but also investigating the provenance of each from an animal welfare standpoint. For this reason I only work with the highest standard of British leather, gathered from a select handful of tanneries.

Leather is a natural and evocative material, that will gain character as it ages with a little care and the occasional feed. I use a special blend of waxes to finish my pieces, as some saddle soaps or polishes can pull the natural oils out of the leather and replace them with chemicals, shortening the lifespan. I am more than happy to supply the wax for your item, on enquiry.
